6 weeks bleed then nothing (no cramps)

Hi all! So I’m 6w1d today (29th august) yesterday evening I bled bright red blood and soaked my underwear, there were no clots and I had no cramping or pains and as soon as I noticed about 7pm I put a pad in and then since then I’ve not bled since, when I wipe there’s a bit of brown blood on the paper but not a lot. I saw my GP this morning and he done a urine test which was still two dark lines and he’s referred me to the early pregnancy unit for a scan but just wondering if anyone else has had this!! I’m currently fearing the worst and this is my first pregnancy!🙏🙏

Hi I had exactly this with my current pregnancy, just a bit earlier. I had bright red bleeding on day period was due. It stopped and then had a bit of brown/red blood the following day. I thought it was a MC. No cramps or clots. I’d had 5 MCs previously and the bleeding quickly intensified with those and felt pain. My midwife said it was implantation or breakthrough bleeding. I had no other bleeding after that and waiting for a scan at 7 weeks. I really hope this is the case for you too. From what the midwives said to me at the EPU it is usually bleeding followed by cramps and/or clots that can be a MC. Have my fingers crossed for you @xkitty

I had a lot of red blood at 5+1 and a small clot - I had a scan at epu as I took some of what I thought was the tissue for them to check as I was so sure it was a MC. They found I have a subchronionic hematoma. I bled 3 more times before 6 weeks. I am now 9+1 and it looks to be healing now 🤞. Good luck x

I had a huge (i used my moon cup and period pants and was sure I was miscarrying) bleed at 5+5 - EPAU showed it was a haematoma and I’ve had nothing since! Good luck

Update !!! I went to my eapu today and had a scan, I had both an outer and inner scan and both showed up a clear image and I could see the heartbeat everything is looking good thankfully!! They had no concerns🩷🙏
