FTM here so no idea if this is a possibility or not….please be kind!!
I have had a UTI for over 8 weeks now. Antibiotics don’t seem to be helping, I am now on my 3rd dose.
I went in to triage last week due to abdominal pain and small amount of spotting. Provided a urine sample which as usual showed infection/raised leukocytes. Results came back as a very high infection and a midwife called me on Saturday for me to pick up some antibiotics, they didn’t want any delay with posting out the results and getting my Dr to prescribe which is their normal process.
Has anyone ever been induced/had a C-section early due to a high/ongoing infection?
I’ll be 37 weeks next Monday. I do have a midwife appointment today but just trying to gauge whether this is an option before I bring up with her. I’m concerned about the infection affecting baby’s growth and the fact that it is getting worse despite antibiotics, rather than getting better!!
