UTI feeling 6 weeks pregnant??

Hi everyone. This is my first post here so hopefully this is in the right place!

Im 6 weeks pregnant and have been feeling like I have the start of a UTI on several occasions, this started on week 4 and has happened a few more times since then. I have the pressure and uncomfortable feeling in my lower abdomen but it doesn't overly string when i pee.

I thought the first few times I might of been dehydrated but I've been drinking so much water lately i don't know why it keeps happening? It usually goes away within a few hours but has anyone else experienced this in early pregnant? Is it normal? Or should I contact my GP?

I’d contact GP, just to be sure.

But, I do remember from about 6 weeks pregnant I was having about 7 wees a night! The hormonal changes were to blame and it only lasted a few weeks. So maybe it could be to do with hormones.

@Bexxy28 im only 4 + 2 but funny enough of a evening I get the feeling of the start of a uti, it never hurts when I wee but it just feels a bit odd down there, come morning time I’m fine though, I’m also waking in the mornings feeling like I’ve drank alchohol the night before (which I of course haven’t) but it’s that like foggy haze, mixed with needing to down a glass of water, so I actually think I might be a bit dehydrated at the end of the day, despite drinking loads in the day and peeing of a night … oh the joys. If it’s burning slightly when you pee, probs best to speak to GP just incase

I think this might be what the issue is, I find when I haven't drank enough water I get the UTI feeling .. I've had it a few times. So I'm trying to drink more water. Im the same I'm sooo thirsty nothing seems to get rid of the thirst! I will maybe contact GP to make sure its all okay. I have my first scan booked for next Sunday hopefully at 7w5d 🤞 hope you get in okay ❤️
