Hi 🤍

I am 20 weeks pregnant today with my 3rd baby…I have been feeling regular movement really early on this pregnancy (15 weeks) especially when I am sitting in the bath!

Over the last week I have only felt 2 slight little pulses, my 20 week scan isn’t until Friday but feel like I don’t want to be a pest phoning hospital as I know some people don’t even feel movement yet by 20 weeks so don’t want to overreact.

Has anyone else experienced movement earlier on that has slowed down/ stopped?

At this stage it's very common depending on what position baby is in.

If you're worried, call and get checked out. They won't mind and you're not making a fuss x

It’s very normal not to feel regular movements until 28 weeks. You may go several days without feeling movement as baby is still so small and can move into a position where you can’t feel them. If you are worried do call them so they can reassure you, although they probably won’t ask you to come in at that gestation

I'm 21 weeks today and some days I feel like she moves loads then I can have a day or 2 where I panic I haven't felt anything! I think it's all very normal at this stage! I had my 20 week scan last week and was worrying as I hadn't felt her but she was wriggling lots on the screen! I think they like to keep us on our toes!

I remember with my 3rd not feeling movement anywhere near as often as with my first 2, or if I did, it would suddenly stop again. It was explained to me that the 3rd had a lot more room to move around, hence the transverse position she refused to budge from!

Obviously though if it feels wrong, don’t worry about what anyone thinks, but give them a ring and just chat it out with them.
