Repeated spotting 12-14 weeks

Hi all. DW is 13.5 weeks and has had light spotting on a few occasions.

The first was a weeks ago just after we found out she was pregnant. We got an "early scan" (turned out she was 12.5 weeks!) and all was absolutely fine.

Two more episodes of light spotting since, both isolated and only when she wipes. Should we be worried or is this normal? She's really anxious as we've been trying for 7 years and had 3 miscarriages.

A lot of women spot in pregnancy and are perfectly fine. Infact my mum bled a lot with me for 18 weeks and I'm 27 now! No health issues.
Usually if it is mild spotting, not fresh red blood getting progressively worse and no cramping/ lower back pain it should be fine.
Always feel free to call the midwife if you have concerns, better safe than sorry. But especially considering she's had the scan at 12.5 weeks and all was well, I'd imagine these little spotting episodes are more irritation of the cervix than anything.

Hope all goes well!

Thank you, that's really reassuring! The midwife is giving us a ring back just to be safe but the extra reassurance is a big help 😊

Midwife said exactly the same, nothing to worry about 😊

I'm a constant repeat spotter - currently 15 weeks and it's been going on since implantation. Had 3 scans all good. Cervix checked all good.
Drs keep telling me not to worry but it is tough each time I see it (sounds similar to your dw, just on the tissue, doesn't get worse)

I spotted constantly though one of my pregnancies, some bigger bleeds. He was a twin and I lost one right at the start it was so scary spotting all the way through. I felt really dismissed when midwife's said stop worrying it's normal. But he is 6 years old now and very much alive.

Hi, I spotted from week 6 to week 16!! Always light but still very stressful. Everything was fine and my son is now a bouncing 7 month old. It can be common in pregnancy :) I hope all is well.

I'm sorry about your little boy, and how you were treated. That must have been horrendous. I'm glad you got a healthy baby at the other side.
