Hi, just looking for a bit of advice, since last night I've had an awful right sided back pain. I think doctor google and me have come to the conclusion it is the sacrum that is hurting. I've done some pregnancy stretches and yoga today. Any other advice to help?

Just to confirm its not all day constantly but lasts about an hour or 2 at a time and has been on and off since last night.

First time mum and 16 weeks today! Just thought I'd have a bit more time before aches and pains 😂

I had very similar pain at about 19 weeks. It was on and off but when it was on it was really on! Being a FTM mum too and quite anxious I did end up ringing MAU for advice. They said as long as there was no bleeding or tummy pain it wasn't anything too concerning. They said to take paracetamol regularly, rest and a warm bath or hot water bottle could help. They advised it was most likely growing pains. They said to just monitor it and if paracetamol didn't help or it got worse to ring back. Luckily paracetamol helped and it passed in a couple of days.
Hope this helps a little!

Thanks so much for your response, will try some paracetamol and a bath! Been trying to avoid pain killers but it really is quite strong!
