Thrush and pregnant

So, I had some dryness down below as per previous posts and last night I wiped and saw I had stretchy discharge with a bit of pink in it. Called triage who said sounded like thrush as it can be further up and that I could treat it at home. I didn’t get any more discharge but can feel a little dry down there still. I did actually look last night and so did husband and there is yeast in my vagina as it’s gone white.

Midwife said that pessary are the best option as they treat infection whereas the cream can just keep bringing it back. I’m so uncomfortable about inserting the pessary in case I do it wrong and I don’t want to harm my baby (third trimester). I’m also confused as to which one I buy? Is it the one attached.

Please help, I’m stressed and worried, are there any other alternatives?

Yeah think I’m going to just see how it is, I don’t think I’ve ever had it before! Just makes you feel gross doesn’t it!

I think I've had that, it could be a combo of the dissolved pessary and maybe some slight bleeding if the thrush made you very sensitive/you were dry when it was inserted.

But by all means check with the midwife if concerned.
