Pregnancy tests not getting any darker

Hi everybody, I had an embryo transfer and am now 9dp5dt/14dpo. I’ve had lines since 4dp5dt/9dpo and have been taking tests morning and night since then 🙈

since 7dp5dt/12dpo the line has stayed the same - has anybody else had this and gone on to have a successful pregnancy?

I was expecting a darker line this morning so took another this afternoon which is the bottom test. (I realise i’ve gone a bit OTT with the testing! 😄)

My test got lighter for a while and didn’t start getting dye stealers until around 6 weeks. I’m now 31 weeks. Things like the amount of dye in the tests can affect how dark they get. They’re showing as positive, try not to get too caught up in the lines

HCG only doubles every 48 hours so I think yours are progressing ok. It is unusual to do multiple a day (although I appreciate your anxiety and have also been a serial tester!) so I would more look at progression over two days. Mine also vary massively depending on concentration of urine. I try and just do first wee of the morning ones which allows better comparison.

Firstly I do think your tests are darker over time, you are doing 2 tests a day, you won't see them getting darker between am and and pm, my hcg doubled over 3 days rather than 2.

I'm currently over 19 weeks now. If you look at my tests 8dp was lighter than 7dp but the blood hcg was a good value.

Oh and also you need to take a picture at the time the test tells you to interpret and compare the images, my tests are all the images. You can't compare wet tests to dry tests, they dry darker and then after a few days they do strange things.

Looks ok to me - mine didn’t get consistently darker each day. And honestly it’s hard but I’d really stop testing, it is not that indicative of how the pregnancy is progressing.

@Alittlebitofscience they are getting darker, mine were very much the same very light until week 5 then they really started to change I'm not 6+2 and finally dye stealers I was also testing like a mad woman because of how pale they were and my history iv finally stopped now but the anxiety is still very much there, congratulations tho 🥰

Thank you everyone for taking the time to reassure! I’m definitely going to stop testing twice daily now 😂although did take one this morning and it does look darker 😊also good point about comparing against dry tests x
