Hello, I had a second early scan today following a bleed. The bleed is no longer a concern but there is a new issue, being that the embryo (which has grown and has a heartbeat) measures 8weeks but the gestational sac is small - so a discrepancy between both. This increases the likelihood of miscarriage and online I read it is a sign of impending miscarriage. I now have a follow up scan planned late next week.
In the meantime does anyone here have positive stories of the gestational sac catching up and the pregnancy going to term? I appreciate it is bad news and I need to hope for the best and prepare for the worst.
