Growth scan head measurement

Reassurance needed please as I’m a nervous wreck! On my 29 week growth scan my baby measured on 50th percentile overall. Head circumference was on 45th percentile. Fast forward to yesterday 30 weeks +4 and although overall she’s still on 50th percentile, her head is now 6th percentile?! Everything else between 40/60th. Makes absolutely no sense to me, no one concerned and now an agonising 2 week wait for the next scan. Has anyone else had this? She’s head down low in pelvis.

Sorry meant to say now 31+4 not 30!

The lower down they are the harder it is to get an accurate measurement. I wouldn't worry too much!

I had my baby yesterday and the growth scans expected her tummy to be on a high centile and her head was way below. Her head was big and her tummy isn’t…

I had this too, except it was noted on my 20 week scan that the head was below 5th percentile and the abdo was above 50th. Anyway, had a repeat scan 2 weeks later and everything was normal/measured as it should. I think its notoriously difficult for the measurements to be very accurate. I know the waiting is awful, but chances are there is nothing wrong with baby, and it's just an error in measurement due to position/baby being due a growth spurt.
