Cramping and wind pain

Hi all, so I'll be 5 weeks on Wednesday so very early! Last week I had some brown/pink spotting which seems to have stopped. Today I have bad wind pains. I have been having mild cramping ever since I got my bfp at 10/11 dpo.

Does this all sound normal?

Yes, all sounds pretty normal to me! I had really horrendous wind pain for a few days at around 4 weeks. It's still pretty bad at 6+3 but a lot better than it was and I'm not so scared of it now (I was convinced it was pain because I was about to miscarry initially). I have tried cutting out particularly gas-producing vegetables (https://www.gastroconsa.com/patient-education/irritable-bowel-syndrome/low-fodmap-diet/) and eating earlier in the evening has stopped me getting up several times a night with pain.
Hope yours settles down soon, it's really not pleasant and not a symptom I was prepared for at all!

@hopefulmum46 thanks for this! Pain had me bent over today, thankfully has calmed down a bit, I also wasn't able to eat much as everything was making gas worse! X

Hi @maria2bela1 congratulations on your pregnancy! Yes I had terrible cramps at 5 weeks, lasted a few days and eventually I worked out it was due to fizzy drinks and alcohol-free beer
