brown discharge at 8 weeks?

Sorry TMI this is probably gross but when i got changed this evening i noticed a small amount of brown discharge in my underwear. This is the first time it's ever happened and it hasn't happened again tonight.

I'm 8 weeks pregnant and I'm really scared because I panic googled it and i I kept seeing things about how this is potentially the start of a miscarriage. I don't know what to do, am I overthinking and can brown discharge be normal?!!

I had this and all turned out fine. I had it for afew weeks on and off.

Brown is old blood.

I had this too during my pregnancy, it would happen every now and again. Everything turned out fine. I wouldn't worry too much about it, personally.

I know it can be scary and Google makes it worse. I found Mumsnet a better place for pregnancy info, Google always shows you the worst case scenarios.
