Growth scan and sudden growth spurt…reassurance needed!

Hello, I’m hoping someone can reassure me or tell me if I’m being silly please…
I went for a growth scan 2 weeks ago at 35+2 with all measurements fairly big, slight polyhydraminos and AC measuring at 98th centile.
I went back today for another scan and head now measures at a lower centile than before (but still 78th), femur length has gone from 50th to 75th centile (both myself and my partner are family short and our little boy is on the 21st centile for height) and AC is completely off the chart and untrackable.
The big difference that I found today was that I was virtually sat up for the scan whereas for all my others I’ve been lay as flat as possible…wouldn’t this effect the measurements as baby is essentially being squashed into a smaller space?
I’ve been tested twice now for GD and results have been fine both times. Baby is being predicted to be 8lb 10 already which seems crazy high?!? My last baby was predicted to be above the 90th centile too and actually was born on the 49th so I’m trying to stay rational but these new measurements seem so different from 2 weeks ago they’ve really made me panic :(

The growth scans can be notoriously innacurate. My second baby had AC and HC off the chart, predicted way above the 98th centile, I got told I should be induced, he would get stuck if I went to term, that we could both die, that I was too small and he was too big and my pelvis hadn't been "proved" despite my previous straightforward vaginal delivery.

I had private ultrasounds taking measurements after each growth scan which plotted different results. (The hospital can't take these into account but I certainly did!)

Long story short I declined an induction and had the home birth I wanted. He was born at home and there were no issues with delivery and he was on the 50th centile weighing 8lb 3oz.

Maybe get some private ultrasounds?

I can’t remember what my measurements were but I was predicted to have a ‘big baby’ and was offered early induction. I declined as I didnt want to be induced unnecessarily but worried constantly for the last 10 weeks of my pregnancy. Baby was born at 39+6 at 8lb 6 ounces. Growth scans are known for being inaccurate xx
