Extremely hot sauna and tww

I'm in Sweden and have just had a very very hot sauna. I'm in the tww and only AFTER did I google if this was a good idea or not. It wasn't! I'm now petrified. I'm 15dpo. No period. Could I have hugely hindered conception or worse caused damage?

My advice would be to keep doing things normally. It could take a few months to conceive and stopping doing certain things will only make you feel restricted the longer it takes.

Every single thing we're told to do or not to do during pregnancy is about risk - it is not like e.g. smoking guarantees low birth weight for every baby, just overall babies of mothers who smoked are more likely to have low birth weight.

I know it is really hard to do this but my suggestion is to try to make peace with a single suboptimal action. Lots and lots of people, for example, drink heavily or take saunas or do not start folic acid before realising they are pregnant. If 100,000 mothers e.g. dont take folic acid there would be an overall higher number of associated problems but still the risk for each pregnancy would be low.

Each individual pregnancy is terrifyingly random Flowers
