Small space nursery furniture

Hi all, hoping this is the right place to post this!
we are starting to look at nursery furniture but we only have a relatively small room for out nursery.. just wondering if anybody else has a small nursery and which furniture range/pieces you used and what you would prioritise please?

My advice would be you don't need specific 'nursery furniture' like the matching changing table, tiny wardrobe and cot sets that they sell. (And overpriced because they are 'nursery furniture')

We didn't get a changing table at all. We got a Hemnes chest of drawers from Ikea, it had really big deep drawers and the skubb dividers for in them perfect for baby clothes etc.

And just put a padded changing mat on top of that. DD is 2 now and we still change her up there!

We also got one of the basic cots from Ikea which I think is a slimmer profile than a 'proper cot' (it's 60x120cm) and she still fits in it just fine.

We got the Mokee mini cot bed for DD1 as it suited our small space and I loved all the colour choices. It’s lasted really well. We added the drawer underneath for extra storage space and it’s got a removable side to turn into a toddler bed so she stayed in it until she was about 3.5. We’ve saved it for DD2 as it’s still in great shape. Mokee mini cot bed

I think we got it in a bundle deal. So depending on how long you’ve got left it might be worth waiting to see if you can get a bundle in a sale.

Like @Spottypineapple hemnes drawer if you have space for it followed by a mini cot bed.

We are looking at obaby Maya mini, babymore Kimi, essentials alba or obaby Stamford mini.

We not gonna bother with changing dresser, we just did it on floor/bed.
