Positive or Evaporation Line?

Hi everyone!

TTC at the moment.. would people say the pink is a positive or an evaporation line? (I’m rubbish at this, I don’t really understand the difference?!). I am only 8 DPO so I know a little early 🙈.

Did it come up during the time frame?

To be honest I’m not 100% sure 😩. It doesn’t look as clear in that photo but I’d say it more pink that grey?

It looks pretty pink & positive to me but only if it came up within the time frame!

Id say thats a definite positive.
It is pink, the right width, and really, far too obvious to be an evap.
Just do another one to confirm.

I’d say that’s a positive but also you must be further along than 8dpo for a line that clear. I had a barely visible line at 11dpo on the easy@home test.

That’s with using the digital ovulation tests, I have really long cycles so I haven’t a clue otherwise 🙈

9dpo couldn't help myself. I think I see something. It's a real squinter. Evap, indent or actual line starting? Any thoughts please

Hi ladies,

needing confirmation with my test. I’ve done multiple test last couple of days. I have gone for a blood test. But after doing some research and wondering if these test are valid or evap lines

@Romina94 did the lines come up in the time frame, or did they develop after? I had a terrible evap on clearblue tests, it started developing about fifteen mins after I'd say. The line needs to appear within minutes for it to be valid.

I really don't like these Clear Blue early detection tests. Both of mine in the twin pack look like this and have had similar lines in the time frame (now dried down) but all other tests are negative. Have some Easy@Home early ones coming today from Amazon but I'm three days late for my period today and I've had three children, all of whom have tested properly positive on or before the day of a missed period so unless I ovulated late, I can't see how it's so faint.

I hate how we're all second guessing these blue lines 🤢
