Early Labour or false alarm?

I had a sweep (second one) this morning around 11am and felt a bit crampy on and off afterwards. Midwife said I was 1cm but could stretch to 2cm and cervix was very soft.
At 2ish I noticed that I was having pains coming and going, not too painful but slightly hurting. I started to time them and they were coming every 10 or so minutes. They have since started coming between 7-10 minutes now.
this is my 3rd baby but I have never gone into Labour naturally as I was induced in both my previous pregnancies so I’m not completely sure if what I’m feeling are real contractions or false Labour contractions which I have already experienced in this pregnancy.
its all so confusing at the moment and I don’t really want to ring the maternity assessment and waste time if it’s nothing.
tia for any advice or comments.

I think only time will tell. See if the pains can be described as tightenings and develop so they are closer together if so then I would consider it to be labour. You can always call them but at this stage they will probably advise you to stay home until the contractions develop to be closer together and lasting for a minute or so. Good luck and hope little one arrives soon and safelt

Sounds like early labour but all you can do is it time them and wait and see. If they get stronger and less time between them then likely to be labour.

I’d focus less on the time between contractions and more on how they feel. I had mild contractions around 3-5 minutes apart on and off for several days. Once labour has really kicked in then your contractions will get a lot stronger and more painful, that’s when to start timing.
