So I found out I was pregnant yesterday(pictures attached) very early 4 weeks on my app.

I was sent to the fertility clinic in 2022 for recurrent miscarriage and beginning of 2023 I underwent tests which all come back normal so was advised it's a case of trying until I succeed. With that letter I got sent it states that people who are seen early on have more of a chance of having a successful pregnancy so scans can be book 7,9, 12 and 16 weeks... my question is has anyone had the same thing but requested for bloods to be done like every week to make sure there levels are rising plus progesterone is all normal as it also states on the letter of any bleeding is to occur I can be prescribed progesterone but with that being said I'd rather be seen each week so it hopefully doesn't get to that and if anything is caught early I've got more chance if that makes sense.

Thankyou for reading.. I'm just really nervous and want to stay hopeful that this time is my time.

I wouldn't expect you to be seen every week.

Is it self-referral in your area? My GP advised me to self-refer as soon as possible. I tried to call a few times after about 6 weeks. When I got through they put me on the callback and then the triage nurse offered me a reassurance scan (about 7.5 weeks). At that scan they booked me in for another 2 weeks later. That was it until my normal '12 week' scan.

Oh - I had been prescribed progesterone in a previous pregnancy after a bleed and got prescription from GP once I had a positive test.

Can you take it without a bleed tho??
I'm trying try stay so positive but it's a struggle, after 4 miscarriages and the loss of 5 babies I can't feel anything but numb atm almost expecting it to happen again

I'm not bothered about scans... my thing is if they do bloods then they can see how my levels are, if my progesterone drops they can do something about it early... if that makes sense..

I've never had my bloods taken to test my HCG, in 6 visits to EPU across 3 pregnancies.

What makes you think that dropping progesterone is going to be the indicator that something isn't right?

I haven't had a bleed in this pregnancy and will never know if the progesterone made a difference but it's the first time I made it to 15 weeks
