Hi guys, I've had 12 miscarriage and had loads of tests done to find out what's going on, well all the results came back and everything is normal, apparently there is no medical reasons as to why, well I've recently found out I'm pregnant and I am now on Progesterone, for the last 2 days I have had constant cramps in my uterus which does not go. I am so scared I'm going to miscarry again, is there any positive stories about being on Progesterone after so many miscarriages and these constant cramps!
I'm too scared to get an early scan booked as previously I've miscarried 2 days after having internal scans ,even when a heart beat was seen...

Looking for Reassurance ladies xx

Hi lovely,

So sorry your journey has been absolutely heartbreaking. How are you inserting the pessaries? That sounds bizarre I’m sure - but if you do them vaginally I have a feeling they can cause cramping.

I did mine in the back way lol- a little grim but so much less mess. I did still have slight cramping though throughout the first trimester.

Have you been told to take baby aspirin? I’m really lucky that I’ve never suffered from any miscarriages but a few of my friends have had recurrent miscarriages and taking baby aspirin really worked xx

I've been on 400 mg twice a dday since my positive test after 2 MCs. Currently 14w3d.

I read a lot on here about baby aspirin but the midwife and doctor told me not to take it, I see the consultant this week and he'll determine if I need it now or not. Don't just take it willy-nilly.

I'd also caution against taking the progesterone rectally if it's been prescribed vaginally.

Which one are you on, cyclogest or utrogestan or another?

Hi ladies, I haven't been told to take aspirin just these vag tablet things and my folic acid 🤣.. I've actually just come off the phone to the midwifes who's booking me in for an early scan on the 31st, (but I really don't want an internal scan ) I suppose one thing is that the pain is just in the middle of my uterus where as before with my mc's they were always on the side, its not overly painful just a little niggerly, the midwifes said its completely normal as everything moving and stretching ect, I have read that you can sometimes put these progesterone tablets in too far which can irritate the cervix, I'm wondering if that's what I'm doing? God I'm just so worried it'll happen again!

I'm trying to stay positive as there's no bleeding! I don't have many symptoms just slightly sore boobs and weeing alot more than usual. I guess it's just a waiting game to see what happends, I'm praying everything's going OK..

Thanks for the reply xxx
