Clear liquid leaking from nipple 30 weeks pregnant

So I have clear liquid leaking from my nipple for the past few days, I’m nearly 31 weeks pregnant. Although I see people collecting colostrum before birth, it’s usually yellow in colour. Does this mean that there is no point in mine being collected if it’s clear? Thanks

If you squeeze then it might go from clear to yellow. That's what mine was like at first.It's just your body getting ready but I think colostrum harvesting is advised later on in pregnancy, you'd have to double check that though x

Yeah that sounds like the very start of colostrum. I’d leave it be - as PP says colostrum harvesting is generally advised for later in pregnancy as there’s a slim chance it could bring on labour. I was advised to avoid colostrum harvesting with DC2 as I was booked for a c-section and they didn’t want me risking bringing on labour before then!
