Spotting red blood - 7 weeks pregnant

Hello,

I'm looking for some reassurance or realistic stories... I'm currently 6 weeks & 6 days pregnant, and I have had some spotting tonight which has been following the toilet on my toilet tissue and is bright red blood. Only a few small amounts, so definitely spotting rather than an actual bleed.

I'm really bloated, but no cramps. And obviously have went into overdrive!

I've recently had 2 MMC's and I'm terrified this is a sign of it happening again.

I know I should call my EPU, but I'm absolutely terrified and can't face going back for a scan to the place that has always delivered the worst news.

Can someone advise if fresh red spotting is a concern?

Thanks in advance,
Laura

I had spotting around the time my period was typically due for the first three months. If your period is due now it is totally normal, yet still totally terrifying.

Thanks @Gro. It's absolutely terrifying and I just keep thinking when is this pregnancy bubble going to burst for us again 😩 I wouldn't be due my period for about 8 days yet going by my calculations, so just need to pray everything is ok. Thanks for replying xx

I am 5+6 and I've bled 3 times starting at 5+1. I went to EPU along with what I thought was tissue for them to test and they scanned me and the yolk sac was there and in right place but I have a subchorionic hematoma (blood in uterus). I had another bleed at the weekend and went today and saw a heartbeat and baby looked fine, it had shrunk but I had another bleed after as the wand I think set it off. Bleeding isn't always miscarriage although I will be honest when I had my first episode I thought it was as there was a lot of blood in each bleed. I panic each time. It is very unnerving. If it's stopping OP yours could be something similar. X
