9 days late period, testing negative

Has anyone experienced this before? My period is nine days late now, no spotting no nothing. I have tested negative on a pregnancy test twice.

I don’t have PCOS, no health conditions. Never had irregular or missed periods before. No hormonal birth control. Only mildly stressed with work. 30 years old. Two children already, haven’t planned for a third. Husband and I are struggling with not knowing (to put it mildly!) Any ideas or similar stories appreciated!

At some point my periods came 1-2 weeks late. Then they went regular again. I would try to chill and wait a bit longer as if you are not pregnant then periods will come at some point.
