Covid and early pregnancy

I'm 6 weeks pregnant and have covid! Been really poorly with it, high temps and a lot of coughing, I'm so concerned it'll effect my pregnancy, GPs are aware and phoning me daily to make sure my symptoms aren't worsening and even offered to send me to hospital but said there is little treatment available while pregnant so I decided to stay home. Anyone had covid in early pregnancy and gone one to have normal pregnancy after with not ill effects? TIA xx

I had my second during lockdown when covid was a big thing and was regularly assured that covid will not harm the baby and no greater risk to the mother. Same as most coughs and colds will not have any affect on baby. I’m surprised they are making such a big deal out of it now to be honest.

I can't remember the gestation, I think it may have been second trimester rather than first but my sister caught COVID while pregnant with her long awaited for IVF baby so obviously was very freaked out and worried. Baby was absolutely fine, pregnancy ran smoothly and my niece is now 1 with no issues😊

Caught it in my first trimester with my second child and was absolutely fine, just made sure to keep hydrated and rested!

Caught it again in the same pregnancy at 37 weeks and felt like I was dying for 3 weeks and was only just starting to feel normal when I was in being induced! I think my lungs were put through the wars though as anytime in sick now, it catches my chest quite badly!
