Hair dye in second trimester

Hello, is it safe to have your hair coloured in the second trimester? I'm 22 weeks and really undecided as to what to do. After two previous miscarriages, I'm probably a bit over cautious but wondered if anyone had any advice. Thank you x

Yeah it's safe! I had mine done in the second trimester 😊 I think it's just best to avoid the first trimester. Go treat yourself!

I’ve had mine done both when I was 8 weeks and only just today! I’m 18 weeks tomorrow. Just mention it to your hairdresser as if you’re having bleach your hormones/increased body temp can have an effect on how it develops. But I’ve had no problems.

I’m 14 weeks and I’ve had mine done twice and mine has been with bleach. I just made sure to let my hairdresser know before she started x

Yes it’s absolutely fine at any stage, just make sure you do a patch test as your skin can become more sensitive during pregnancy. But it won’t cause any problems or pass over to the baby at all.
