More freckles/moles in pregnancy

Is this a thing? I’ve noticed I’m more freckly, my face, around my chest & belly. Also noticed a new development of a mole? I’m going to get it checked by the dr but when I Google this apparently this is a thing during pregnancy, has anyone experienced this before?

I did Op and it’s apparently quite common. Existing moles and freckles also looked darker. Still worth getting the one you mentioned checked as you can never be too careful. But I have definitely experienced this!x

So funny you should say this- I'm 7 weeks post partum and have been noticing quite a few new freckles/ moles on my chest which arrived during my pregnancy! Very strange!

Definitely a thing. In fact what looks like a definite melanoma under the microscope if the patient is pregnant or recently given birth it's treated as normal because the body is laying down and growing all types of different cells including melanocytes which is what we look for in melanoma.

Keep an eye on them and maybe take some photos?

Definitely a thing. I developed them
on my hands and feet and even a freckle on my eye iris (all been checked by a doc as I freaked!).

I did but also got senile warts which look like moles and doctor froze off

Yes I'm paying for a mole map and check after this pregnancy, but they won't do it until post partum because of how pregnancy changes things.
