Toilet rim block

Hi,

I am currently using Domestos toilet rim block. I am concerned as it has fragrance and I am 10 weeks pregnant. I am also worried if it splashes onto my skin when I use the toilet. Has anyone used toilet rim blocks during pregnancy?

Should I be concerned?

I think you are overthinking and of course its safe to use them. Just don't touch the block with your hands

Why should it be an issue?

There's nothing in it that can harm you or the fetus.

I think feeling anxious is normal and maybe have a chat with your midwife if you feel it is taking over and making what should be a happy time into one filled with worry and anxiety.

Good luck with the pregnancy and try to enjoy it.

Why would it having a fragrance cause any issues? What are you worried about it doing? Perhaps have a chat with your midwife, some anxiety in pregnancy is normal but this sounds like it may be going over what is normal which can lead to a very stressful pregnancy for you. They are very used to handling this sort of thing and have mental health teams in place that can help show you ways to manage your anxiety

Unless you are planning to have it for lunch, I really can't imagine why it would be a problem..
