Am I still pregnant

Hi all I took a test on the 5th July it was a faint positive a few days later (when my period was due) I started bleeding from the 8th till the 16 July. So from the 21st I did a test and bright red lines today (28thjuly) I did another and still bright red lines🤷🏻‍♀️am I still pregnant can anyone advise

Could be a miscarriage. You need to contact the early pregnancy unit.

I agree that you need a scan and serial hCG blood tests to see whats happening. It might have been twins and you lost one- sorry. Any pain on one side? I would also be checking with a branded FRER also. I used one step and had false positives, false negatives and read that an entire batch were duds! Best of luck OP.

You definitely need a scan. It could be that you’re still pregnant but also could be a miscarriage.

Hey how heavy was your bleeding? I bled on and off for over a week with my first DS and assumed it was my period. There was one day when it was quite heavy and had given up all hope but turned out to be implantation bleeding.

From past experience it can take a couple of weeks to get a negative pregnancy test after a miscarriage. I would book a scan in, ring Early pregnancy unit and ask for a scan or book a private one for this weekend so you can get your answers. Best of luck x

It was like my cycle tbh was heavy to soak the pad I’ve had multiple miscarriages in the past when the bleeding stops. I normally get a faint positive to negative results and no sickness nothing after.

Meant wasn’t enough to soak a pad sorry

You need a scan. I had a missed miscarriage in April. It happened in March, it was found 4 weeks later at my 12 week scan.

3 positive pregnancy tests, painful boobs and quite bad morning sickness until I had surgery, 6 weeks after baby died.

If you've had multiple you know you need to seek help. We can't give you the answers. Please seek medical help.

think last summer I had a miscarriage had a scan there where 3sacs but where empty had the sickness way before that miscarriage and negative results after bleeding think I’m gonna call gp or the epu

Please still go and get checked. Even with a miscarriage you can produce the hormones to have a positive test.

after surgery you have to test 3 weeks after to check you’re not still showing positive to make sure nothing is left. It’s horrific, but you need to be sure.

I am PG again now, 6+2 weeks but terrified the same thing will happen. Roll on the 12 week scan.

I phoned the one EPAU as they know me personally over 8years having my 2nd 3rd baby there my pregnancy journey has been horrible and they refused to see me so went to the GP she was shocked I had a uti but was well hydrated all has cleared up but at this moment I’m still having morning sickness even thou I’ve been taking anti sickness🤷🏻‍♀️I have an appointment Monday with another EPAU fingers crossed x

I‘ve had 6 miscarriages - mostly missed and I’ve had positive tests for weeks after. You’ll keep having positive tests after a miscarriage while there are any products of the pregnancy there. I hope you get some reassurance from the scan as it sounds like you didn’t bleed much and it’s totally feasible that you’d still be pregnant.
