hi all, any opinions welcome. I woke up this morning with painful contractions around 4.30. They were every 5-10 mins lasting 35-55 seconds, getting more painful until around 11.30am when I had two 65 second painful contractions 25 minutes apart. Since then, contractions have varied from 20 seconds to 1 minute (most just over 30 seconds), varied in intensity and anywhere between 5 and 25 minutes between (it’s 2.10pm as I type this). What does it mean?:( how long am I likely to be stuck in this limbo?

Sorry, it's not very encouraging but for me this meant nothing. I'm crap at giving birth though, can't do it without pitocin 😂😭

I hope it all kicks off properly soon! Try to relax (most useless advice ever, sorry)

Do you have a birthing ball. Try bouncing on that if so. I lost my plug that way and my contractions really ramped up after that x

Woke the next morning with the same but more painful contractions, in hospital by 9am baby out by 1pm. I turned up 8cm! So two days of early labour at home did its thing. Just thought I’d update in case anyone comes back and reads x

Thank you both, I agree I’m so happy we spent most of it at home
