Pink spotting 11 weeks

Hi guys,

just had my third incidence of pink spotting. It’s light, but has made it on to my pants twice. Am 11 weeks tomorrow. Scan not until 13 weeks.

I’ve not gotten checked out as my EPU says I need A&E or GP referral and it feels like a bit of an over reaction as each incidence has been quite short-lived.

just wondered what folks thought. Third DC if that’s relevant!

It could be all okay as you suggest, especially if you don't have any cramping / pain and the bleeding doesn't get heavier. But I think they always like to investigate any bleeding in the first trimester to be sure everything is okay. Getting a GP referral to get an appointment at your EPU might be a good idea.

I vote you mention it to your GP, I think it's highly likely they'll refer you to the EPU and then it's up to them to decide if they scan you. Probably nothing but best to check!

Definitely speak to your GP for a referral

Thanks so much for taking the time to reply folks - helpful to have the all clear that I’m not overreacting. I’ll call the GP on Monday and see what they say 👍🏻
