Ford ranger and pram

Does anyone have a pick-up type car and a baby? Obviously the boot is a big (often dirty) compartment that I don’t want a pram sliding round in. Just wondering what people did with this set up!

I’ve an L200 with a canopy. It’s not ideal, that’s for sure, but the pram just goes in the back, brakes on and I throw a cover over it. My husband made up a plywood liner on little wheels so I can pull it out onto the tailgate which makes it much easier, and he cut little divots for the pram wheels as well, so the pram doesn’t move around.
