Not sure what I’m hoping to get out of this to be honest, just need to have a moan.
35 weeks pregnant with my second and I feel so crappy! I’m uncomfortable all of the time, my joints are starting to get very achy, my hands and fingers are always aching and tender, I’ve got a mouth full of ulcers and I’m not sleeping very well.
I realise that this is all probably completely normal but does anyone have any advice/words of wisdom? I’m getting so fed up and feel guilty that I’m not being the most fun mum for my 2 year old. I’m a SAHM too. My husband is amazing but of course he’s at work all day so by the time he gets home, he’s stuck with the moaning, knackered wife rather than the fun and happy one! I’ve just got no energy!
I just want to go to bed until baby is here but even that would probably be uncomfortable 😂

I feel your pain, 32 weeks with second and I am DONE.
I appreciate how much some ladies would give to be in my position but I still feel like I’m allowed to moan about it right?!
if I were you I’d ask your partner to book a day off work soon and just let you rest! Or leave you home alone for the day at a weekend.
im counting down the days until mat leave starts and I get a couple of quiet days a week while my eldest is at nursery. Not long to go though right?!

@LuckyStar511 moan away! It can really help to unload. Good news is you’re on the home stretch, bad news is those last few weeks feel just as long as the first few. Do whatever you need to do to get through. If that involves sitting in the bath, eating chocolate or going to bed at 7pm or anything else you need to do then you do it.

I feel your pain, I hated the last month of my pregnancy. It was a task just walking up the stairs, I couldn't tie my own shoelaces, getting up off the settee felt like a marathon, walking for 10 mins made my lower back ache like mad! I thought my body was damaged from pregnancy and I was gonna be stuck like it forever!
It's so worth it in the long run though and I'm completely back to normal now 3 months nearly 4 months PP. It will all be a distant memory once your little bundle of joy is here! Nearly at the end now OP. 💐

Hi @LuckyStar511 totally hear you! I remember feeling like that last summer. I slept alot, i couldn't get enough of just napping it out lol! Get your naps in if you can before baby arrives xx

LuckyStar511 · 26/07/2023 14:04

Ahhhh thank you so much, everyone! Nice to know I’m not suffering alone 😂
Everything feels like such a huge task atm! My LO has just dropped her only nap of the day too so I have no chance to nap in the day unfortunately. I’ve just been handing her off to her dad when he gets home and going for lay down then.
Think I’m going to pop out and get some yogurt’s because my mouth hurts so much I can’t even eat chocolate which is what has been getting me through these last few weeks 🙈😂

Yep I'm with you!! 33 weeks with number 2. Have a 22 month old DS who is pretty exhausting.
You have my sympathies being at home. I'm working part time, which gives me a bit of a break!
Feeling like everything is a struggle now. Walking, sitting.. you name it.

I'm 30 weeks with DC2 and I'm so grateful that DC1 is in nursery. I couldn't be SAHM (even if I wasn't pregnant!) but OMG I'm so tired. I'm currently "working" from my bed, having taken a nap. I need to get to the shop (which is a 5 minute walk) and I don't have the energy. I just want chocolate all the time - so massive sympathies about the ulcers (maybe a chcolate milkshake?!) - we have none in the house but don't have the energy to get up right now. I'm also procrastinating on here when I should be working...
