If your second was ivf, were they early or late?

I’d love to hear the differences for birth for natural vs ivf pregnancies!

Yes 2nd was 6 weeks early., an IVF baby. First came on time and was a natural conception.

Ooh that’s quite a change! What were your reasons for ivf btw? I didn’t think about this at all but just found out recently they might come earlier.

Secondary infertile on my part, mostly caused by age. I was 5 yrs older so early 40s when I had my 2nd.

I did have a subchorionic harmatoma in the 1st trimester which lead to quite bad pain and bleeding, convinced it was an ectopic tbh. But I read after that that these are more common with IVF pregnancies and regardless of IVF or not, increase chances of pre term baby.

I think pre term is a risk with IVF, but I know many that have gone full term too.
