Hi there know there are lots of threads on this subject but I don’t know where else to turn and going crazy out epu is unreachable by phone anymore so can’t really speak to them.
I had a scan yesterday with no heart beat and epu just seemed so relaxed about it and said nothing apart from that it’s to early which I so badly disagree with ! Although I may need to shh I’m not a doctor (7th pregnancy 2 children) they gave me a report as far as I can tell it reads they agree I’m 7 weeks 4 days lmp but the crl is only 3.7mm ?! I go back in 6 days but not feeling great this will be my second mc this year just need some others opinions. I’m definitely sure my lmp was the 1st of june regular 28day cycles xx

I am so sorry you are going through this - seems really confusing for you.

Was anything visible , yolk sac etc?
Was there also something that prompted the early Epu scan?

hoping you get some answers soon x

Thankyou for messaging! Yes all was visible including small foetus (looked really tiny to me compared to other pregnancies I had to ask to see the screen as she didn’t offer an was about to send me out ) I’d had a m/c in February this year and had brown spotting wich stopped quickly 2 weeks ago epu scanned me an had no fetal pole so arranged to see me again yesterday an I was hopeful as now all was there , it was really unusual the ladies have been really nice but I feel downplayed my questions or didn’t awnser and didn’t really want to engage with me and just want to wait an see but that’s very hard an google isn’t very promising an in experience 😅 xxx

I'm sorry OP, what a worry.

In my experience it doesn't matter what they see on the first scan, they won't say it's a miscarriage as the pregnancy could just be earlier along than expected.

If you don't know when you ovulated, maybe you ovulated later in your cycle than normal?

PickledScrump · 25/07/2023 15:21

Could you have ovulated late? Maybe your not as far along as you thought

Thankyou for your messages x
i really don’t think so I wasn’t tracking but I had my period 01.06.23 then my partner went away from the 13.06.23 and wasn’t back untill the day I missed my period 28.06.23! So is their room for era? Era enough to be a lot further back than I thought ? ( I’m my head I’m saying please say yes please say yes haha!) I just don’t have the headspace to work it out right now Xxx
