Bicornuate Uterus and Bleeding

Hi all

First post and looking for some reassurance. Has anyone had a bleed in pregnancy with a Bicornuate uterus? I'm just over 11 weeks now, had a heavy bleed with lots of big clots at 10 weeks, still bleeding but much less than it was thankfully. I was scanned while in hospital and baby was fine and it looks as if the bleeding was coming from the empty horn but I'm really anxious as the last two days the sore boobs and sickness have gone 🙁 I have my 12 week scan on Thursday but I'm panicking because I just don't feel pregnant anymore. Anyone had a similar experience?

I had this! Baby was in the right horn and I bled from the left from weeks 5 to 10. I had some really heavy bleeds with clots, which was so stressful. The bleeds were so heavy that we were convinced I’d miscarried three times and were shocked each time when EPU found an happy baby in there. I ended up over analysing all of my symptoms for the whole of the first trimester. Baby is completely fine though. She’s currently a bit too comfy in there and I’m overdue. Good luck!

Thanks, that's reassuring! Glad your baby is ok 💕 it's the not knowing between scans that's stressful. Most people look forward to their 12 week scan but I almost feel like I'm dreading mine x
