Pain in pubic area

We found out we were pregnant last week at 11DPO. I’m now 4weeks and 5 days (still too early! Aha). So far my symptoms have been pretty similar to my normal PMS ie sore breasts, mild cramps etc. however I’m going to the loo constantly BUT when I go I don’t seem to be able to pass much urine at all. It’s not Burning but I’ve noticed general Sharp pain down there (mainly around my clit area sorry for the TMI - it sore enough to be sore when I wipe etc). I also have a very short spasm/shooting pain in my pubic area. I also feel bloated and my bladder feels constantly full! I’ve been tested for a UTI today but haven’t got the results back yet. I wasn’t worried about this as I’ve had UTI before that feel like this but then I googled and ectopic pregnancy came up so now I’m a mess and worried that’s what it is 😪 any one else had weird pubic pain and sore down there?

Forgot to mention as well I’m bloated because I’m not going for a number 2 as much as I normally and I have more gas than usual too. Just seem to have a lot of weird ‘bubbles/movement in my belly if I’m honest. Is this normal?

Your pelvis is filling up with a growing uterus, so it can cause constipation and a bladder that feels full. Remember that the joints in your pelvis slacken due to hormones too.

@DustyLee123 thank you for your reply! I think that’s all it is and I’m panicking over every twinge etc thinking it’s something bad. Early pregnancy is so hard mentally 🥲

Update: just incase any one is wondering about these symptoms in the future. I do actually have a UTI so that at least explains the going to the loo constantly and the cramps down there. Got to go on antibiotics and repeat the urine test again once I’ve finished the course so fingers crossed all turns out okay 🤞
