My due date is the 9th September and hoping there are others in a similar boat that might want to chat?
Second baby for me, have DS who's turning 2 in a few weeks :)
Feeling... tired and round and wanting time to speed up for this last bit!

Hey!
Im due with my first 16th September.. and can totally relate. I have enjoyed the first 2 trimesters but now I just want this to be over with!

I’m super excited to see baby, but overwhelmed with the amount of baby stuff in the house right now haah

Ljhunt · 25/07/2023 16:02

I’m due 9th September! But trying to book in a c-section which will probably be the week before. So seeing it as 6 weeks to go. First baby. Mixture of actually starting to enjoy pregnancy for the first time and just wanting to her to be here and healthy and safe already. Moving last minute to my parents which is currently occupied by tenants so whilst I have everything i need babywise, it’s all stuffed under the bed and I won’t be able to organise it until 38 weeks!

I'm due 8th September. 3rd baby but older ones are bigger now at 13 and 10 years old. They are super excited!!! I always worry I will have this one early as my daughter was born at 35+5 and I'm not ready yet!! We renovated our house and still not done. Eeeeek.

TobySpaniel · 25/07/2023 17:44

Yes I've got building work going on, too!!
Last time I was so organised and had my hospital packed by now.. everything washed and ready to go. This time I'm just about getting through work and sorting out the toddler so feeling quite unprepared!
Eek, 35 weeks ! That's early.
I keep thinking 6 weeks to go.. I'd just like to have a little bit of time off after I finish work on Friday 18th. Last time baby arrived a few days after I finished work but I could do with the time to sort myself out this time round!

Just checking in again! I've had a few really bad nights the last few nights. Just so difficult to get comfortable and my minds been running away with me! The new indigestion doesn't help either.
How are you all doing ?

@TobySpaniel sorry to hear you suffer from indigestion. I had it for a few days and then it suddenly eased.

I went in the other day due to increased watery discharge. Both doc and me think it's a bacterial infection but he got worried it's so watery and wanted me checked out. All was good but I was told to rest and stay close... still waiting for the results to see if it's an infection.

Hey all,

Still prodding along. Had a few scans recently as I’ve been told I have mild Polyhydramnios which is extra amniotic fluid. This does make my belly feel quite tight and uncomfortable but they’re not concerned at all.

I have my 34 week midwife appointment this week where we’ll start discussing birthing plans- feels all too real now.

how are you getting on? Has the indigestion calmed down?

Al991 · 06/08/2023 08:37

Hi everyone! I am due 3rd September :)

FTMat42 · 06/08/2023 22:22

Hi, nice to find you all!
My rainbow baby will be induced on the 9th if they haven’t made their own way out by then…

I’ve started to feel pretty rubbish this week; heartburn and then what I assume is PGP started off yesterday. Getting exhausted after 10-15 mins of standing/doing chores like cooking. And can’t get comfy sitting in my desk chair at all! Might have to start working from bed for my last couple of weeks of wfh!
Also struggling with sleep… keep waking a few hours early stressing about both work and birth 😬

Anyone started mat leave yet?

Al991 · 07/08/2023 09:13

I'm with you @FTMat42 ! Standing up feels like such a hardship, especially chores that require a slight bend like cooking.

Sunshineandsons · 09/08/2023 20:50

Sorry I joined in then went quiet my little boy due 5th September decided on Saturday he couldn’t wait any longer and made a very dramatic entrance to the world nearly 5 weeks early! He needed some support with breathing so went straight down to NICU then needed a bit more support so had to get transferred to another NICU an hour away to a more specialist hospital
thankfully he’s been improving everyday and hopfully space depending he’ll get transferred back to out local hospital so it’s a bit easier for us travelling back and forth (I wasn’t able to stay in with him)
he’s really been a little fighter and despite his early appearance was still 7.5lbs!

Didn’t get the planned calm c section I wanted (or tubes tying) but thankfully he came out fast without doing any more damage to me than my last labour did and I’m up and about and able to drive to see him!

was getting fed up with feeling so pregnant but now a bit sad I didn’t get to finish my pregnancy the way I thought I would no last bump pics or birth plan but so greatful he’s on the mend

word or warning get your bags packed I thought I had loads of time left so just sorted his bits and didn’t worry about mine had to send OH to Tesco for PJs whilst I was in labour 😂

xx

@Sunshineandsons wow congratulations!!! I realise it's not what you had planned but glad all went ok and he is feeling better. Hopefully you'll be home soon!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️

I totally feel you! I’m due 16th, but working quite close up til as I also wfh. I’m starting Mat leave on 7th September, but cannot wait as no position feels comfortable. I always start work from the bed and slowly pull myself to the study…

Bed time tossing and turning is an actual joke- I used to see all these videos about it online and now can totally relate
