Do these sound like braxton hicks? 28 weeks

Hi, I feel stupid for asking this as Im pregnant with my 3rd baby and should know this but my last baby was 6 years ago and I don't remember having braxton hicks the previous 2 times ( or I've just forgot) I'm 28 weeks and 3 days pregnant and for the past week I've had lower tummy pains which feel like period cramps but they are a constant pain, they come and go but not like contractions, come and go as in I'll have the pain for a few hours then it will settle down but when I'm experiencing the period type cramps they are a constant pain low down in my pelvis instead of contraction type coming and going.
This has been going on for about a week, no bleeding or anything like that but I'm unsure if these are braxton hicks or if I need to get them checked? They aren't getting worse wouldn't say they are painful but they are uncomfortable and hurt a little. I have been doing so so much lately this past week too and wondering if I need to slow down and this is my body's sign of doing to much. I've got my 28 week midwife appointment tomorrow morning so I am going to bring it up then but haven't gone in to get checked over the last few days as didn't want to look silly as I don't think I'm in labor I just have a constant ache. Baby is still very active and moving as usual.
Thanks in advance

I'm also 28 weeks pregnant and sometimes have a similar feeling if I've overdone it with a longer walk or unusual activity the day before. It can also be the position baby is in - often when I go for a walk it feels like baby is sat very low and putting pressure on my pelvic floor and it can be uncomfortable. It eventually eases. But if you're worried I'd ring the midwife just to be on the safe side.
