Random health issues not adding up, NHS not really helping, thoughts?

Hi MN, I'm looking for some thoughts on whether I'm going mad or whether I should keep looking for help. Are these health issues an unlucky week or are they connected?

I am 34 weeks pregnant today. I have been struggling with PGP. On Tues Eve last week I was aching so bad all over with nausea, then got diarrhea, a fever of 38 and ridiculously shaking and chills through the night. Cancelled it out with paracetamol, but still couldn't sleep with the sweating and worrying. Went to GP, diagnosed with tonsillitis, given penicillin.
Thursday, I come out in a pin prick rash, thought it was probably a viral rash from my daughter as she recently had something similar. By Friday the rash is extreme, itchy and sore all over bump and boobs. Back to the GP! They said it's most likely a reaction to the antibiotics and to wait it out basically as it's not going to affect the baby and I need to make sure I clear the tonsillitis.
All weekend I've been itchy and sore but rash is now improving.
Yesterday I woke with a banging headache, hurts when I lean forward, laugh, move my eyes. Paracetamol takes the edge off but doesn't get rid of it completely. Tried to get on with my day, queue a repeat of Tuesday night, I've spent all night up with fever and chills, then sweats.
Same as last week I've woken up and feel sweaty but the fever is more or less low level or gone.

What the heck is going on. Am I having an unlucky week? If I wasn't pregnant I'd just pass it off as viral and ignore it but I'm worried there's something more going on or that baby may be affected by all this fever and stuff.

Has anyone got any thoughts on what could be going on? Am I being paranoid? Thanks x

Re the headache, you need to see your midwife to get your BP and urine checked.
It might not be related to the tonsillitis.
PGP is common and not related to the rest.
Explanation for rash sounds plausible.
Sorry you are going through all this at once.

Sounds like either a reaction to the antibiotics or strep throat. I would have thought the headache etc is connected to your original illness.

im sorry you’re feeling so unwell. Please make sure you keep up with fluids and don’t hesitate to get back in touch with your doctor (or even A&E) if you get worse or don’t feel better in the next couple of days

Did they check your blood pressure?

Thank you for the replies, blood pressure was checked and all fine so the preeclampsia worries were set aside. I later developed some really sensitive patches on my scalp so seems to have been a combination of the original illness (tonsillitis or strep they're not quite sure but didn't test) and some tension too.
They changed my antibiotics and added another 5 days on so baby and I are currently super humans with the amount of antibiotics I seem to have had this pregnancy! Feeling much better though x
