nausea worse at weeks 17-19

First time pregnant at 38, so don't know exactly what to expect.

My nausea in first trimester was very mild. I didn't have any food aversions and I never threw up. I think these mild symptoms disappeared somewhere around week 10-11 but I found my nausea back around week 16-17 and it's still ongoing at week 19. I haven't vomited this time around either, but the nausea is stronger than what I had in first trimester and it takes longer to ease off. It starts during the day after breakfast and goes on till early afternoon. I eat and drink as usual, so I am not worried about dehydration but overall very annoying and makes me wonder if something might have gone wrong (my bum looks small to me too and I haven't yet felt any movements).

Any similar experiences with nausea becoming worse in the second trimester? is this something I need to call my midwife about?

I’m 19+3 with my first and threw up this morning for the first time in about 6 weeks. I’m hoping it doesn’t stick around.

if it’s unbearable I’d speak to your GP, I was prescribed promethazine hydrochloride from about 6 weeks and they really helped for when I was nauseous every day
