Hey, ladies! Let's go through our first trimester together. :) I am currently about 4 1/2 weeks pregnant, I've gotten my BFP and I am so excited to be a mom! This is baby #1 for me so I'm a nervous wreck with lots of questions!
How's your first trimester so far? Easy or hard? First time mom? Let's do this together!

Congrats!! I'm in the same boat, just a little further along at 7+3.
I think I have gotten off very lightly so far (touch wood)! I've had a couple of days of feeling crap but only mild nausea, some cramping, but otherwise very few and mild symptoms.
Anxiously waiting for contact from a midwife now. I self referred at 4+2 and have heard nothing yet.

Hey, this is baby no 5 for us 😁 our youngest is 7 so will have a 8 year age gap between babs and youngest 😱

I'm 4+3 today I think I've had backache, slight stretching pains, headaches & extreme tiredness since last weekend.

I've got my booking in app with the mw on 11th aug and im going to book a reassurance scan for the following week 🙏🤞❤

Congratulations everyone I wish you all the best luck with your journey 🥳

Hey! I'm a bit later in the first trimester - 10 weeks on Tuesday but have had a really positive time. A touch of nausea in the early days and some headaches here and there but other than that all fine 🤗

Baby 3 for us - I have a just turned 3 year old and 1 year old (both boys).

12 week scan on the 10th of August 🎉

Oh it feels like its going to take absolutely agessssss for me reach 10 weeks lol

Kids broke up for summer holidays on thur so this will atleast keep me busy and occupied, hopefully help pass the time quicker. I'll be 11 weeks when they go back to school 🙏❤

mumtotwox · 23/07/2023 09:34

@Bellabeemarie The first trimester is always so slow isn't it 😭 I'm trying to soak it all in as this will more than likely be our last baby (maybeeeee 😜)

How do you find it all? The summer holidays will be a fab distraction - just keep busy and you will have your first scan in no time!

Me and OH are away thur - wed without the kids they are with their dad and my parents

Weve got 2 camping weekends booked
Weve got Blackpool booked for a day out and chessington so I'm hoping I dont get struck down by morning sickness 🤦‍♀️😂

Tbf I've had it pretty bad with all of mine so I'm kinda expecting it but I dont think it started till 6/7 weeks with my others xxx

@hannahgayle oh congrats 🥳 it’s so exciting seeing that positive, when did u get urs?

It’s #1 for us also (after a MMC in March this year💔) I’m a little further ahead at 10.5 weeks, the first trimester has felt long so far just because I’m trying to hide it and almost avoiding seeing ppl or going to things so I dont have to make up stories😅 I was relatively ok until about 7/8 weeks then had a week & half of bad 24/7 nausea but the last week it seems to be getting slightly better so really hoping the sickness goes in the next week or 2 🤞🏽 Apart from that I’ve had bloating/wind/sore boobs and ALOT of stretching 😂 come 7/8pm I look 5 months pregnant.

Congrats to @Bellabeemarie @MenaF @mumtotwox Also❤️
Will u all opt for an early scan or wait for 12 weeks?

hannahgayle · 23/07/2023 14:31

@DmcinT I got my first positive at 8dpo! The line was ssooo faint I thought I was going crazy. I continued testing all week and got my BFP at 11dpo! It still doesn't feel real.
I've had waves of nausea on and off, some cramping, but mostly I've just been tired. I've never been so tired in my life! I hope being tired will be the hardest part for me, though.

@MenaF congrats!! 🫶 it's so exciting and nerve wrecking, isn't it? I'm glad to hear most everyone is having an easy time with symptoms so far! I haven't been able to contact my doctor for an appointment yet, because he's out on vacation. But hopefully sometime next week I'll be able to get it and get things rolling. Your first baby, as well?

@Bellabeemarie wow! That's so exciting! Awh, I bet that baby will be so well cared for with all those older siblings. :) best of luck to you!

@mumtotwox glad to hear it's been easy for you so far! Congrats! I've been having an easy time so far too, and I hope it's a good sign for the rest of my pregnancy! Just some waves of nausea, some cramping but mostly just been exhausted. The first trimester is already going by so slow! Only my mom knows right now, and telling my dad soon but after that no one can know till I'm out of the first trimester and it's going to be so hard! 😂

Hi!! I’m 5 weeks today, first baby. Feel rather poorly today and crazy heartburn. I’m feeling so excited but so so scared as I’ll be a single mum! Thanks for this thread, how are you? :)) xx
