So long story short I have been in and out of hospital with waters leaking and positive FFN test. All started 2 weeks ago, so far all has been fine as I’ve had steroid injections and antibiotics.
I’ve been having weekly monitoring to check on baby and she’s happy and moving perfectly.
I have mentioned the colour of the amniotic fluid to the midwives at hospital every time I have gone in/stayed overnight and they said they aren’t too concerned with the colour as it’s a straw yellow and isn’t fowl smelling… though today after some monitoring I have come home and checked the pad and I feel a little concerned with the colour? It looks a little browny/dark yellow? They have been checking my bloods and urine and everything so far isn’t indicating an infection. So maybe I’m being an over thinker… but they have told me to monitor the colour and smell and I’m just unsure of this one. Any advice?
