Has baby dropped at 34 weeks?

I’m having a csection so unlike most people, I don’t want baby to be on his way out on his own accord 🙈 Im 34 weeks and in the last week I’ve noticed my bad heartburn that I’ve had for months has completely gone, I struggle to close my legs when sitting as it feels like baby is going to be squashed and it generally just feels like baby has moved position.

If baby was to engage this early does it mean he’s going to try and come before 39 weeks? I know there’s no definite answer to these things but is it a sign labour could be sooner than 5 weeks away? 😬

No, nothing to worry about. X

A scan showed that my baby’s head had dropped at 32 weeks and I’m still sitting here at 39 weeks, highly pregnant.

Try not to worry. Even if baby were to start coming early, you would probably have enough notice that they could still go ahead with your original plan.

Thanks so much for reassuring me @lavenderdilly 😅 hope you don’t have too long to wait @BackOfTheMum5net

My son “dropped” at 30 weeks, was agony with SPD. Was induced at 41 weeks 🤣. Those 11 weeks were horrific.

good luck!

@rosed1008 good news for me.. bad news for you 🤦🏼‍♀️😂 thanks, glad it doesn’t suggest anything imminently! Will find out this week at the midwife if she knows where baby is lying
