hi everyone. just seeking a bit of advice.

has anyone had high anti tpo and high anti tg thyroid blood back? just found out this week i am pregnant but so scared I'm going to miscarry because of my thyroid antibodies. The fertility consultant i saw is on AL until 25th July and my GP has been of no help with my anxieties surrounding this.

Hi there
I have an under active thyroid and saw an endocrinologist years ago when living overseas, at that time I was told I had high anti thyroid antibodies.
On return to the UK I never had a repeat antibody test but still take thyroxine.
I had IVF and mentioned the antibodies to the consultant before starting who told me not to worry and the antibodies would likely have no effect.
I am now 15 weeks pregnant and all good so far 🤞
I have been told via the midwife that apart from continuing the thyroxine and having thyroid levels checked each trimester, they don't worry about it and will not need to do any additional scans as should not be a problem.
Hope that helps x

Hello @ncg92! I just came across your post and thought to ask how you are now doing? I also have high TPO antibodies and ttc!
