Hi I’m now 40 weeks and just wondering what your early signs of labour were with your little one! Thanks ❤️

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

With my first my hind waters went but no contractions and had to be induced. Second I lost mucus plug and had loose stools around a week before, had 3 days of bump tightening before they finally ramped up and she was born a few hours later. Unfortunately a lot of symptoms can still mean that there’s still days to go.

Period pains every 15-20 minutes. Bloody show. Waters went then contractions started.

The day before, I really had an irrational desire to stay at home. I also felt slightly breathless. DH thought I was being a bit bonkers (38 weeks, so it didnt really occur to us!). I had tightening frequently in the 2 weeks before, I didn't notice any chance in frequency but there may have been.

Other than than that no warning until contractions started and I felt like I really had to poo (sorry for tmi! But I hear a good clear out is very common). 15hrs from onset of contractions till delivery.

The night before, as I got into bed I felt so so sick and then was violently sick 3 times and felt fine. Went into labour with period pains getting quickly more intense at around 2pm the next day

Nothing the day before (but I was busy running around with a friends children). The week leading up to labour was filled with tonnes of Braxton hicks. I was so fed up with them! That and DD buried her head into my pelvis so felt like she was going to shoot out if I coughed or sneezed!
