I'm 41 weeks today. I've been in hospital since Thursday with a pessary that didn't work - I also had the gel that lasts for 6 hours.
However, I refused the second lots of gel as for some reason this examination was majorly uncomfortable for me and I felt soo sore.
The midwife came in my room at 6:40 and said would you like your second lots of gel now and I said no thank you, please put me down to get my waters broken. She said it's my choice! However there could be a few days wait for my waters to be broken as I will need a delivery suite.
Well 15 minutes after she came in, my WATERS BROKE!!!!! It was just a trickle... however they put me on the monitor and I was feeling gush gush most of the time. I rang the buzzer and said I need to get up I'm soaking wet. The midwife wanted to check my pad and guess what !!!!! I had a huge bloody show!!!!!! I have never seen this with my previous two children!!! How amazing!!
However it's been 5 hours and no contractions yet, just lots of leaking 😂😂🤞🏼🤞🏼 my vagina feels very wide and opened now when I wide!! Could I be dilating without knowing?? What even is a bloody show 😂😂
