Pains after a pessary?

I was induced yesterday as I'm 41 weeks tomorrow.

I had the pessary at 3;00 yesterday lunchtime. All evening/night I had strong period pains and regular tightenings! I'm having them today also.

I was 3cm when they did the pessary! Is this a good sign with the cramping/tightenings ?

Yes. Keep moving, don’t sit and wait for labour to start !

I agree sitting down makes me feel like I'm going to get a pressure sore 😂 walking helps!!!

I was in the bath for 6 hours straight ...... no lie! It was worse than labour pains! Keep walking, bouncing on the ball etc!

Definitely a good sign. Get walking and bouncing on a gym ball - works wonders!
