Stopping aspirin at 34 Weeks?

I have been on low dose aspirin since 17 weeks due to not having a thyroid.
Currently 35+5.
i was told to stop at 34 weeks with a private doctor just incase of early labour. However the NHS still has not told me to stop but I have stopped at 34 weeks. Baby is measuring great and I've had no issues.
Would it have an affect the baby in a negative way.?

As I understand it you come off aspirin towards the end of pregnancy because it's an anti-clotting agent so taking it too late in pregnancy increases the risk to you of bleeding too much during labour or a c section; nothing to do with the baby.

When I had my first, five years ago, it was recommended to stop around 36 weeks. With my second, last year, they'd since changed the guidelines and now recommend continuing up till birth. I stopped at 36 weeks both times. Both children are healthy and happy.
