40+2 advice please

I will probably phone the labour ward but I do like to speak to people on here just for comfort as I have health anxiety but will take any advice also. Currently 40+2 & for the last 2 weeks my ankles & feet have been swollen, they have gotten bigger the last few days & hurts to walk. At every midwife appointment since I’ve found out I was pregnant I’ve had protein in my urine but no infection & midwife says it can be normal just have elevated protein levels throughout pregnancy. In the last hour or so I’ve developed a headache I just feel really off & horrible quite tired too. I’ve had frequent Braxton hicks the past few days but have had them on & off for months & had some sharp twinges on my right side I’m guessing baby just milo big down & engaging. I’m also in blood thinners & iron tablets incase that of any relevance. Anyone experienced similar? Is it just my body hearing up for labour? Been 10 years since I’ve given birth & was induced so don’t remember much. Thanks.

So hard to know what the spidey senses are saying at this stage, as it’s so close to happening… I think if you feel any way unwell (apart from headache, do you usually get them?) then go in (if that’s allowed, not sure)

They always ask you to phone first & they advise wether to come in or not I think it’s so they can prepare a bed for you & have the right people available when you go in. I get the odd headache occasionally pregnant or not. I stay up late, I’m on my phone a lot, I’m up at 7 every morning, my diet isn’t the best as I’m so hungry just now, unable to walk far with the swelling so not getting a great amount of fresh air. I half expect a headache tbh but was concerned given the symptoms I already had. I am extremely tired & am a one man band doing the shopping, cleaning & cooking etc with a 9 year old probably just need a good sleep.

Headache has subsided but will phone midwife to get my blood pressure checked anyway

Midwife just been out. Blood pressure normal well it’s low but normal for me. Slight protein in my urine but said that can be normal at this stage & have had protein in my urine throughout my pregnancy but she’s not concerned
