Help! Skinny dark line on Clearblue?

Hi all
I’m on cycle day 28 so expecting my period any min. Took a test this morning as I felt acid-y last night and this popped up after 5 mins. It’s very thin but dark? It’s a Clearblue if that helps. I’m about to go on a very long shift so no time to go grab pink dye etc and I know it is probably faulty so I feel like I need to have my hopes dashed. Thank you 💕

I would have said early positive but I'd retest tomorrow to make sure. Why do you think it's faulty?

Personally I wouldn’t count as a positive. Looks invalid to me. Clearblue are terrible for this sort of thing. Get a pink dye and try again tomorrow morning if no period

I'd say negative unfortunately. I've had lines like that lots of times but always negative. My real positives with clearblue are thick and much lighter normally. Sorry. You could still be pregnant but I wouldn't trust that line at all.

Heartburn was one of my very early symptoms so why not?

OP, that’s a faulty test I’m afraid so it’s a negative. Try a FRER or another pink dye test.

Thank you all - I thought it might be negative as the line was so thin, I’m also on the wait list for an appointment to discuss IVF due to endo and PCOS so the acid feeling gave me a shred of hope!
