How do you know when baby has dropped?

39+3 with third baby!

My belly has clearly dropped by the looks of it as the picture from yesterday it's very rounded and high up. Today it's sloped and lower!

Today I feel less pregnant and belly looks smaller ha! I can sit and move how I want, my belly feels very soft and spongier today also! BUT I have major heartburn still ah.

Is this all sounding like baby dropped symptoms?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Yes can be, although I couldn't move how I wanted as it felt like there was a bowling ball between my legs 🤦‍♀️
But definitely the sloped lower bump and feeling like I could breathe easier as baby wasn't in my ribs. Although my second dropped at 36 weeks until 39 then popped back up again and was born at 41+2 and didn't drop again until labour!

When you can finally breath 🤣

That's what I'm hoping for anyway. I didn't ever drop. Hopefully with this pregnancy I will!

Can anyone answer please, if your belly has gone pointy, like at the part where your belly button is, rather than full and round is this a sign that baby has dropped?

With both, having been told since the beginning that I’d feel like I needed the loo all the time, but didn’t, I suddenly very much did. Felt absolutely desperate at least every hour, even if there was very little.

I remember walking to school to pick up ds1 and dd, and thinking I feel like this baby could just drop out of me (36 wks). He was born the next day.
